First we find out what you want and need. Then, together, we develop
a plan to tackle your concerns and work out goals for your treatment.
This plan might include individual counselling sessions or joining
a selection of groups within our project. We also have a variety of
Holistic Therapies. Look at the services below and then see what's
included in the "structured day programme Programme".
We run an’ Abstinence Service’ this is for people who have become
abstinent from drugs. Clients will have access to the full day Care
Service which includes a comprehensive group work programme, Holistic
Therapies, Leisure Activities and Education, also clients can attend
an Abstinence Support Group that offers support to clients in a group
setting.
Sessions take place in a supportive and comfortable environment in
which you can feel secure. People with drug problems, and others who
are concerned can join a wide range of groups - and holistic therapies
- that are appropriate to their individual needs. Our current programme
includes:
CRASH is a specialist service for people experiencing problems with stimulant misuse. Individuals can call in during the CRASH session times and be seen immediately, no referral is necessary. There are a variety of services on offer, including 1:1 support, information, advice and guidance, complemetary therapies such as EST or acupuncture, group-work and social activities. Referral for additional treatment and other services such as housing is available.
There is a volunteer, befriending and mentoring scheme to provide
20 volunteers within the borough of Stockport to underpin the work
of the Drug Intervention Programme. It forms part of the aftercare
